It's our birthday! It's been 10 years of Yiddish Summer Weimar, and we still don't have a birthday song.

Write the music and text for a song for Yiddish Summer Weimar 2010 and win!
The composer of the winning song will receive free participation as well as accommodation for the Workshop of his or her choice during Winter Edition or Yiddish Summer Weimar 2011.

The winning song will represent Yiddish Summer the best: the philosophy, the method, the feel of the festival, the people and the mood – international, intercultural, holistic – in your own language.

The entry deadline is July 1, and the winner will be announced on July 15th at our Gala Birthday Party. The winning song will be performed that evening and will play throughout the rest of the year on the Yiddish Summer Weimar 2010 website.
