7. Important Information About Registration Cancellation
Registration may be cancelled only until July 1, 2013. In such cases, other music e.V. will refund the fee paid minus 150 €. Cancellations after that date, will not receive a refund, UNLESS a person is found who is willing to take the place of the cancelled registration. In order for the workshops to take place, a minimum number of registrations must be received by July 1st, 2013. If the minimum number is not reached, other music e.V. reserves the right to cancel the workshop. In such a case, the entire registration fee will be refunded. So please register early to help ensure that the workshops take place and to help us plan. Thank you!
We highly recommend that you purchase travel and seminar cancellation insurance, to be sure that you incur no unncessary costs should your participation not be possible.
8. Scholarships for housing costs or course fee
Other music e.V. strives to award two full scholarships for each workshop. These scholarships are intended to make it possible for people to participate who would otherwise be unable to do so for financial reasons. Scholarships cover the complete cost of the workshop tuition and, when possible, free housing, which can be with a host family. Scholarships are given exclusively for the time period of the workshop in which the recipient is registered. Receiving a scholarship for one workshop does not entitle that participant to scholarships for any additional workshops. Anyone is eligible to apply for a scholarship. Since the scholarship is intended for participants with financial need, the other music e.V. requires documentary evidence of the financial situation of the applicant. In addition, please attach a short description of why you wish to attend Yiddish Summer and how a scholarship will help you. A short explanation of why you want a scholarship is also required. Scholarships are awarded according to the budget of the other music e.V., the financial situation of the applicant, and the order the application is received. The application must be received in the other music e.V. office no later than June 24, 2013. A submitted scholarship application entails no legal claim to a scholarship award. The board of the other music e.V. makes all decisions concerning scholarships. Applicants will be notified by July 1, 2013. All questions concerning scholarship awards can be sent to email@example.com.
Multimedia documentation is made of all workshops. With your registration, you grant other music e.V. permission to use such documentation for archival and promotional purposes.
Other music e.V. assumes no liability for property damage or personal injury.
