Please also answer the following questions so we can better prepare for the workshops this summer and in the future, thank you!How did you learn about YSW?
What languages do you speak?
Dear friends of Yiddish Summer,Without a major financial sponsor like the EU, we are forced to depend on workshop fees this year to make Yiddish Summer Weimar 2010 possible.Although we need more total income from workshop fees, it's very important to us that people with less money can still participate. So we're trying something new. We've created a 3-tier fee structure for each workshop: a "standard" fee that we consider a fair price for most participants, a "reduced" fee for those who have less money, and a "supporter" fee for those of you who can afford a little more and want to help support Yiddish Summer Weimar this way.We ask each of you to decide for yourself which fee you can afford and hope that you will be as generous as possible.
Since I am a member of the other music e.V., I receive a discount of 25,- Euro.
Dependent upon available funds, housing scholarships are offered each year from other music e.V..
Scholarships from the other music e.V. are to help participants with financial need take part in the Yiddish Summer Weimar workshops. Housing scholarships are given exclusively for the time period of the YSW workshops. Participation in more than one workshop does not guarantee a housing scholarship for the complete period of all attended workshops.Interested participants can apply for a scholarship with this form. As the scholarship is indented for participants with financial need, the other music e.V. requires documentary evidence of the financial situation of the applicant. In addition, please attach a short description of why you wish to attend Yiddish Summer and how a housing scholarship will help you.Scholarships are awarded acording to the budget of the other music e.V., the financial situation of the applicant, and the order the application is received. The application must be received and in the other music e.V. office by the June 15th, 2010. A submitted scholarship application entails no legal claim to a scholarship award. The board of the other music e.V. will decide on the award of all scholarship monies, with notification to all recipients by June 20th, 2010.By accepting a scholarship, the participant agrees to assist with certain logistical and organisational tasks during Yiddish Summer which will be determined by the organisational team. All questions concerning scholarship awards can be sent to registration@othermusic.eu.Scholarship Application:Please describe your financiel situation and enter your motivation for applying for a housing scholarship here:
