(Important information for the preparation of the course instructors)

Choose the workshop fee that's right for you!:
Every year, Yiddish Summer brings together students and teachers from throughout the world to create a unique “Learning Community” in Weimar. We have developed our fee structure to best serve the financial needs and possibilities of our students. Therefore we offer three different fees.

Standard: The standard fee is 75€ per workshop day. Starting with the fourth day the fee is reduced to 60€, and on the seventh day the fee is further reduced to 55€. The rebate is calculated on the basis of the total number of days participating in workshops.

Reduced: This fee is for all those who cannot afford the standard rate, or otherwise qualify for reduced rates (students, seniors, etc.) The reduced fee is 60€ per workshop day, reduced to 45€ from the fourth day and 40€ from the seventh day.

New! Supporter: Music students help each other! This fee offers you the opportunity to help worthy students with limited financial means participate in Yiddish Summer Weimar. Together, three sponsor fees contribute to create one scholarship for a deserving student. With a fee structure of 100€ per day, reduced to 85€ from the fourth day and 80€ from the seventh, you are doing a good deed and directly helping your fellow musicians!

Scholarships: Scholarships for workshop fees and living expenses, both partial and full, will be offered through other music e.V. depending upon the available funds and capacity. You can find all the necessary scholarship information in the FAQs or in the conditions of participation.

Please note: fee reductions are calculated based on your total number of workshop participation days. If you've registered for more than one workshop, you can calculate the cost using the table below. Please feel free to email or call us if you have any questions about how to figure out your total fees! All prices below in Euros!

(Please note! The price reduction is already included in the price for workshops that last longer than 3 or 7 days. From the 7th day on, the daily price remains the same. Please feel free to contact us for help figuring out your workshop fees!)

Important: Your registration is only valid when the complete workshop fee has been received by othermusic e.V. You will then receive confirmation that you are officially registered.

Important: Registration Cancellation

• If you cancel before June 1, 2011, the entire workshop fee will be refunded, minus an administration fee of 25€.
• If you cancel between June 1 and June 20, 2011, only half of the workshop fee will be refunded. A cancellation after this date is unfortunately not possible unless a “replacement” participant is able to take your place, in which case you will only be charged the 25€ administration fee.

In order for the workshops to take place, a minimum number of participants must be registered. If that is not the case, other music e.V. retains the right to cancel the workshop. All workshop fees will then be refunded in full. In order to facilitate the workshop planning and make sure every workshop takes place, please register early. Thank you!
